This is a laundry door -- the plant hanging down is sometimes known as night-blooming cereus -- but this is more correctly the name of a desert cactus rather than an Epiphyllum. It kindly put out a flower soon after the window was installed. It smells really wonderful and only blooms for one night. The blossom is inspired by a Debra Felberg Oxley Victorian pattern in Glass Elegance and the flower of the actual plant. The foliage just sort of grew out from there.
